Life after high school?

So, everyone always asks me, "what do you plan on doing after high school?" There are many avenues to go down after getting the glorious diploma! I could go straight out into the real world... take a year off... go to college. After many excruciating hours... and a known knowledge that I was definately going... I thought about where I should go to college. For the longest time I was going to go to Northwest Missouri State University, but then the veil got ripped off my eyes, and I thought of other places. My friends told me about a bunch of different colleges. I was sure I couldn't get into any of them. I knew that I wanted to be a docter, so I thought of good docter colleges in Iowa. University of Iowa seemed to be the ticket. I talked to my school official aka my dean... he said I could probably do it if I got a good A.C.T. score... well I did get a pretty decent score... which made me eligible to get in to Iowa!!! I was still a little fearful, but I applied anyways! My dean told me that I had a 99.9999% chance of getting in. I didn't believe him. I was expecting to wait 4 to 6 weeks for my letter. I was riding with Sara, Brenda, Brennie, and Kenzie, and my phone rings... it's mi madre. She says, "hey you have a letter here from Iowa, do you want me to open it?" I was like of course. It ended up being my Hawk password so I could track my application... my heart sank. I told my mom then like 2 seconds later, she goes... oh you have something else!!! I was like open it... hurry up! She read it, Congrats you got accepted into University of Iowa and the premedicine program! I started yelling and Brenda and Sara congradulated me! That next day I sent in my acceptance... I'm an official Iowa student!! I get my orientation papers soon!! When I get paid I am going to send in my room application... $70.00. So, I am a pre-med student as of January 11th, when I graduate high school!!!! YEA!!! I GOT IN!!!! I am one step closer to my vision. The next college student... ME!
